This is an inclusive, trauma-informed training open to all ability levels that will cover core safety concepts, movement & blocking, defensive strikes, and contextualizing the skills to your life. This two hour workshop will focus on self defense theory & practice relevant to sport fighters who are ready to explore the application of their sport fighting skills in response to real world violence. This workshop is open to all interested adults, regardless of your training level. Topics will include: situational awareness, assessing a threat, application of practical skills, de-escalation strategies, considerations for use of physical force, physical practice, common scenarios, live drilling, and more. Please be prepared to train barefoot or in mat shoes that have never been worn outside.
